Supplier of an Airport Operational Database (UltraDB) and a Flight Information Display System (UltraFIDS)
Scope of Work
The following is an extract from the contract scope of work.
Software development, customisation and configuration in order to produce software to meet the requirements of this contract that includes:
- System building and configuration,
- Database generation and the set up of flight processing business rules,
- Set up of user access, alarms, & logging,
- Set up of Statistics & Reports,
- Set up of display device pages and check in and gate operation -FIDS/GIDS/BIDS,
- Seasonal flight schedule set up,
- Production and integration of interfaces to the following external systems: existing AODB, Resource Allocation System (RAS) and Local Departure Control System (LDCS).
Ultra was awarded the contract for an AODB and FIDS by The East Line Company at Domodedovo Airport.
The system supports both the Cyrillic and English languages in its database, interfaces to external systems, flight information displays for both public and staff and the user interface (menus, forms and dialogues). The system accommodates the Russian Federation airline and airport codes in addition to the standard IATA codes.

East Line provided the hardware which included Compaq Proliant ML570 server, 60 - CRTs, 16 Plasma and 20 off 30? TFTs. All of the displays are driven by the Ultra application client software.

Current Status
The system went into operation in July 2003. Ultra has provided East Line with a number of upgrades to the system.
