Overview
UltraEmulator consists of airline Terminal Emulation software together with a Gateway. The Emulator software runs at a PC workstation and communicates with the Gateway application using TCP/IP.
UltraEmulator allows any PC to connect over a LAN/WAN to a host mainframe system and to operate like a mainframe terminal, supporting all types of airline printers and firmware. It also provides many additional value-added tools and features, such as an enhanced storage and management of Teletype messages.
Ultra also offers a Developers' SDK (Software Development Kit). This provides an airline the flexibility to develop their own applications with host mainframe connectivity. Airline protocols supported:
- ALC/1024b
