Overview

UltraEmulator consists of airline Terminal Emulation software together with an Ultra VTA Gateway. The Emulator software can be installed on a PC workstation or for a CUTE environment, on a Fileserver and communicates with the Gateway application using TCP/IP.

UltraEmulator allows any PC to connect over a LAN/WAN to a host mainframe system and to operate like a mainframe terminal, supporting all types of airline printers and firmware. It also provides many additional value-added tools and features, such as an enhanced storage and management of Teletype messages, 4 way split screen. Each one capable of having its own address and each one capable of accessing a different host.

Ultra also offers a Developers' SDK (Software Development Kit). This provides an airline the flexibility to develop their own applications with host mainframe connectivity. Airline protocols supported:
