Introducing UltraTrak BMS; advanced baggage management for today’s modern airport.  Building on the highly successful UltraTrak BRS, UltraTrak BMS provides enhanced BPM-based baggage tracking as well as extensive disruption handling capabilities, including the advanced reflighting system currently in use in the world’s busiest transfer airport.

With its advanced reconciliation and segregation features, UltraTrak reduces mishandling and short shipped baggage by maintaining a real-time view of the status and location of baggage across the airport or, for multi-site systems, across an airline, airport operator or ground handler’s operation.

Passenger baggage can be segregated by type (local or transfer), class, destination and, if applicable, by onward flight and/or carrier. Together with the ability to distribute information to down-line airports, UltraTrak's segregation capabilities can greatly improve the efficiency of baggage handling at an airline's key hubs.

UltraTrak provides powerful transfer management facilities.  BPM-based baggage tracking enables a user to establish the last known location of any bag, and transfer (BTM) and manifest (BMM) messages combine with BSM information to provide details of expected and actual baggage.  A full audit trail of all baggage operations is retained to monitor process compliance and identify possible training requirements.

The system uses rugged, hand held terminals to provide airport-wide access to reconciliation, tracking and reporting facilities. A secure web-based front end (accessible anywhere with an internet connection) provides supervisor and management reporting functions.

Additional features include integration with UltraReflight, Ultra’s powerful baggage reflighting and repatriation tool, and an advanced reporting module, allowing a high level view of key performance indicators.

UltraTrak can be easily integrated with other Ultra applications to provide a fully integrated airport operation and ground handling solution.

UltraTrak is used in over 50 airports across the world in 5 continents, including multi-site systems in South Africa and North America, and also the busiest transfer airport in the world, London Heathrow.
